On Saturday, February 9, a collection of families who had signed up for the VIP Interest List for one of Paran Homes’ newest communities gathered together in the City of Marietta. At the heart of the gathering was a “dusty shoe” event to mark the opening of presales at Magnolia Court – an enclave of 16 luxury homes with price points starting in the High-$400s. As VIPs, attendees were afforded an opportunity to enter a drawing to select their home site and be among the first to begin construction in the new East Cobb neighborhood.

On hand to answer questions throughout the event were Community Sales Manager Sandi Brodnax, Paran Homes President Michael Rosenberg, VP of Construction Josh Paterson and Sales Manager Patty Atkinson. The dimensions of several homes were staked off to help guests envision how their home might be placed on different lots. Floor plans selected for Magnolia Court are all timeless – appealing to a wide array of home buyers.

“As a result of a few hours at the site, we were able to generate a lot of excitement among attending families,” said Atkinson. “Once the drawing took place the following day, Sandi placed calls to let the lucky homeowners know the good news and set appointments for them to come out one by one to select the ideal homesite and floor plan for their new home. We always create an interest list as our new communities enter their earliest stages of planning. Based on the success of this event at Magnolia Court, I can see a market for dusty shoe events like this one at up-and-coming communities in the near future. It helps take a buyer from interested to invested in the new community.”
